I joined FABI in 2013 as an Honours student under the supervision of Dr Martin Coetzee. I am currently enrolled for a masters degree under the supervision of Dr Martin Coetzee . The aim(s) of my masters research is to determine the population structure and mechanism of spread of A. fuscipes in Pine plantations in the northern provinces of South Africa. The second aim is to determine the current extent of the Armillaria root rot, and the population structure of A. mellea in Company Gardens, Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden and Table Mountain National Park in Cape Town.
