FABI celebrated the first publications in an ISI-rated scientific journal of four FABI postgraduate students in the TPCP and CTHB groups at a gathering on 27 February. This was also a celebration of women in science with Agil Katumanyane , Kira Lynn , Mandy Messal and Stephanie van Wyk being congratulated on their achievement. Kira’s paper is the first to be published from the recently-established RGE-FABI Tree health programme . This marks an important milestone in these young researchers’ professional and academic careers and is the foundation on which FABI is built: high quality research and publication output.
