FABI team members Dr Janneke Aylward and Dr Nam Pham were amongst 31 researchers chosen to participate in the Marcus Wallenberg Young Researchers Challenge and associated events in Stockholm from 19-21 October. As part of the challenge, all young researcher participants presented talks and posters, which were also part of a highly contested competition. Both Janneke and Nam were recipients of awards - remarkable achievements given the exceptional levels of excellence of all participants. As part of the event, they also attended the symposium and banquet celebrating the accomplishments of Prof. Holger Militz, this years’ winner of the Marcus Wallenberg Prize. Janneke and Nam were joined Prof. Mike Wingfield, member of the MWP Selection Committee and Prof. Brenda Wingfield who also attended the various events and meetings associated with the annual Marcus Wallenberg Prize celebrations.
