There was an exceptional turnout with a mix of students, postdocs, technicians, administration officers and principle investigators all enjoying a day out of the lab while getting their hands dirty. A total of 2,500 Eucalyptus cuttings were planted, and approximately 50 delicious burgers were eaten at our team-building braai afterwards. These plants will be used by the FMG group for studies of pest and disease resistance, and wood properties. A big thanks goes to everyone who helped make this a fun and productive day.
