Prof. David Collinge of the Department of Plant and Environmental Science at the University of Copenhagen presented a special seminar at FABI. His lecture was titled: "From transgenic plants to endophytic fungi: contrasting approaches to disease control in plant". Prof. Collinge was at FABI in his capacity as the external examiner for the PhD defence of Jeanne Korsman . He last visited FABI in 2006 as an external examiner in defence of Dr Bridget Crampton’s PhD degree.
