A two year Post Doctoral Fellowship is available at the University of Pretoria related to a dynamic research group ( Bacterial Genomics and Host Pathogen Interactions ) working on potato plant pests and pathogens. This project will attempt to profile and elucidate potato plant defences and bacterial virulence mechanisms during the interaction between potato and Pectobacterium spp using RNASeq.
