Born in Zambia, raised in South Africa.

I completed my undergraduate degree (BSc - Biological Sciences) at the University of the Witwatersrand.

I then moved to the University of Pretoria to further my studies, whereby I completed my BScHons specialising in Genetics with the FMG-EPPI team under the guidance of Prof. Sanushka Naidoo and with the mentorship of Mrs Shae Cooper.

I am currently pursuing my Masters degree within the same team. My work is focused on improving the transformation efficiency of Agrobacterium-mediated transformation by making Agrobacteriummore compatible with Eucalyptus.
