The 18th annual meeting of the Epsilon Chapter of the Society for the Presentation of Outrageous Findings (SPOOF) was held in FABI on Friday the 25th of July. This annual and important scientific event brought together famous FABI scientists and anonymous visitors to share their latest findings in the spirit of a CARNIVAL (theme). Presentations included those dealing with biological assays to determine choice (such as in the choice of soda drinks), the use of random variable rewards to influence the behaviour of graduate students and investigations into paranormal events in FABI laboratories.  In addition to FABI staff and students, the event was attended by ringmasters, clowns and other carnival characters.  In all, a wonderful event and somewhat seriously crazy! And as always, the number one fun event on the annual FABI calender!
