Myriam Solís, a PhD candidate in the Eucalyptus and Pine Pathogens Interactions (EPPI) research group in FABI, participated in the conference of the American Phytopathological Society (APS), Plant Health 2021 "Seismic Shifts in Disease Risk" conference hosted online between 2-6 August. The topics were divided into Bacteriology, Chemical control, Nematology, Detection and diagnosis, Emerging diseases, Mycology, Epidemiology, among others. Her presentation took place in the epidemiology section presenting an oral and poster presentation, entitled “Infection biology of the Eucalyptus leaf blight pathogen, Teratosphaeria destructans” that summarized part of her work together with Prof. Mike Wingfield, Prof. Almuth Hammerbacher and Prof. Sanushka Naidoo.
