Jenna-Lee Price, a MSc student in the Applied Mycology Group under the supervision of Prof. Cobus Visagie and Dr Neriman Yilmaz, has been awarded a travel grant from the International Society for Mycotoxicology (ISM) to attend and present her poster at the upcoming the 3^rd African Symposium on Mycotoxicology, a joint meeting of the African Society of Mycotoxicology (ASM) and MYTOX-SOUTH. The meeting will be held in Stellenbosch from 4-7 September this year. Jenna will present from her study that focuses on fungi and their mycotoxins associated with maize ear rots from emerging farms in the Eastern Cape, South Africa. She will be accompanied by Dr. Neriman Yilmaz, where they will be presenting their work as well as engaging with fellow researchers and members from industry and government.
