Three tree breeders from Bioforest, a research branch of the Chilean forestry company Arauco, visited FABI on 28 October. Ivan Appel, Dr Claudio Balocchi and José Ordoñez were in the country to visit various forestry companies and attend a Camcore meeting, but first stopped at FABI before travelling to KwaZulu-Natal.  The group visited the FABI Biocontrol Centre at the Innovation Africa Campus of the University of Pretoria before moving to the Institute on the Hatfield campus. They ended their visit attending a special seminar by Prof. Brett Summerell.
