Dr Esther de Rycke, a partner from the Mytox-SOUTH project, visited FABI as part of her trip to the University of Pretoria, South Africa during the State Visit to the Republic of South Africa by Their Majesties the King and the Queen of the Belgians. During her visit, she presented on the topic of "Validation of rapid screening steps for mycotoxin analysis, taking the next steps" followed by a round table discussion that was well-attended by FABIans as well as students and postdoctoral Fellows from the Chemistry Department. The purpose of her visit was to collaborate with Dr Neriman Yilmaz and discuss future collaborations.
