NAMPO Harvest Day is one of the largest agricultural exhibitions in the southern Hemisphere. The annual week-long event, organised by Grain SA, is attended by all stakeholders in the South African agricultural sector, as well as many international guests and members of the public. The Grain Research Programme (GRP) pest and disease extension and diagnostic clinic team (Dr Lavinia Kisten, Ms Ntombizodwa Maduna, Mr Lawrence Mataha and Mr Matt Jackson) attended NAMPO and exhibited the services offered by the clinic. Both small- and large-scale producers showed great interest in the services offered by the clinic. The team also engaged with various other stakeholders including researchers, international delegates, university staff and students. The team would like to thank Grain SA for inviting the clinic to participate in this event.
