Proof of concept of dsRNA control of grey leaf spot disease in maize from the MPPI group was published recently in the journal Plant Pathology of the British Society for Plant Pathology (BSPP). The Editor selected the paper for the BSPP blog site, which aims is to make our research accessible to high school Biology students and encourage a new generation of plant pathologists. Prof. Dave Berger and one of the co-authors Carla Buitendag reconfigured the main findings for the blog article “RNA interference – the next frontier of “green chemistry” fungicides?”.
