When the UP campus opened today after the past week’s disruptions, a group of FABIans rolled up their sleeves to clean up litter strewn in the area around the FABI buildings during the protest actions. The 33 staff and students, led by FABI Director Prof. Mike Wingfield, made quick work of clearing the rubbish filling numerous refuse bags. This initiative once again illustrates FABI’s tradition of engaging with their environment, and taking on responsibilities beyond the academic and research realm.
