Congratulations to Programme leader of the Eucalyptus and Pine Pathogen Interactions Group at FABI and researcher in the Department of Genetics at the University of Pretoria, Dr Sanushka Naidoo, who has been elected as a Fellow of the Next Einstein Forum (NEF). This is a major achievement, as only 16 young scientists from all fields of science from across Africa (and Africans working abroad) were selected for the 2017-2019 NEF Fellows group. 

Established in 2013, the NEF Fellows is a select programme that recognises Africa’s best young scientists and technologists. These innovators and emerging leaders will have the opportunity to advance their scientific career while also inspiring the next generation of African innovators.
