Cape Citizen Science is a FABI-led project, under the guidance of PhD candidate Joey Hulbert, supported by the DST-NRF Centre of Excellence in Tree Health Biotechnology (CTHB) at the University of Pretoria, and Stellenbosch University. The project engages non-scientists in research about Phytophthora in the Cape Floristic region. Cape Citizen Science has released a new video titled ‘A year of empowering young minds’, which showcases footage from many youth engagement activities organised during 2017.
