Foliar pests and diseases are a major constraint to maize farmers in Africa. As part of the Kenya - South Africa Joint Science and Technology Research Collaboration, a maize pathology workshop will be held at Maseno University in Western Kenya. Presenters will be Prof Dave Berger, PhD student David Nsibo (MPPI) and Dr Irene Barnes (CTHB, TPCP) together with Prof Mathews Dida from Maseno University and a maize pathologist from CIMMYT.
