I am currently an MSc Microbiology student with the Avocado Research Programme. I completed my Honours degree in 2021 under the supervision of Dr. Markus Wilken. My honours work focused on the conditions needed to create interspecific hybrids of Ceratocystis species.
Currently, my research focuses on the identification and characterization of necrosis inducing effectors (NLP's) in Phythophthora cinnamomi.
