I have completed my degree in BSc Genetic in 2023. During the course of my degree I took MBY modules that gave me exposure to world of laboratory work and I fell in love immediately. In 2024 completed my Microbiology (Hons) degree. My research project focused on the identification of ambrosia symbionts of several ambrosia beetles and also to determine if these fungal symbionts are pathogenic to Macadamia trees. Currently, I am a first year microbiology master student that will do research on the macadamia felted coccid.
