I am a PhD candidate, based in the Host–Pathogen Interactions Programme at the Forestry and Agricultural Biotechnology Institute (FABI) and the Centre for Microbial Ecology and Genomics (CMEG).

My research focuses on profiling the molecular cargoes of extracellular vesicles (EVs) produced by Pectobacteriaceae. I am particularly interested in understanding how these vesicles contribute to bacterial communication and plant–pathogen interactions. During my MSc, I conducted comparative analyses of EVs from Dickeya dadantii and Pectobacterium brasiliense, examining their characteristics, responses to stress, and associated DNA and RNA cargoes.
