I completed my BSc Microbiology undergraduate degree in 2023 at the University of Pretoria. I am currently pursuing my honours degree under the primary supervision of Prof Cobus Visagie and the co-supervision of Dr Neriman Yilmaz-Visagie.

My honours project focuses on the documentation and characterisation of thermophilic fungi found in South African soils.
