Having completed my BSc in Biotechnology (2024), I am currently pursuing my Honours degree with the Citrus Pathology research group, under the supervision of Professor Jacquie van der Waals. My project evaluates the efficacy of new synthetic fungicides, GRAS chemicals, and biological control agents against Cladosporium and Fusarium species affecting citrus blossom and foliar health. Through this work, I am excited to contribute to the development of sustainable disease management strategies for the citrus industry. When not in the laboratory, you'll find me exploring local hiking trails, where my passion for plant science continues to grow.
