I am currently a final year BScAgric Plant Pathology student, doing my final year project with the Citrus Preharvest Disease Research Programme under the guidance of Professor Jacquie van der Waals. My research focuses on evaluating effectiveness of biological control agents, GRAS chemicals and new synthetic fungicides against Alternaria alternata and Colletotrichum gloeosporioides, which are responsible for causing blossom and foliar diseases on citrus. I am enthusiastic about the sciences and nature, and I strive to make meaningful contributions to research in this field.
