I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture ( Plant Production) majoring in Horticulture. My 4th year research project focused on the resistance of cowpea seeds to the cowpea weevil (Callosobruchus rhodesianus); wherein the resistance was tested by infesting the seeds with the insects. I also have a Master's degree in Agricultural Management (Plant Production). My research focused on the postharvest quality of two cherry tomato cultivars after applying an edible coating. Both my qualifications were obtained from the University of Limpopo.

I love and am passionate about research. As an aspiring researcher, I look forward to broadening my horizons and scope, to getting the exposure as well as the opportunities that come with this internship. I am delighted to be part of the FABI internship. In the process, I hope to share my skills and learn more through seasoned experts and mentors at FABI.
