As of 2025, I am pursuing an MSc in Genetics under the supervision of Dr Markus Wilken, Ms Frances Lane, Prof. Brenda Wingfield, and Prof. Mike Wingfield. My research focuses on research into the genetic mechanisms underpinning unidirectional mating-type switching in filamentous ascomycete fungi.
I previously obtained a BScHons in Genetics and a BSc in Biotechnology, both from the University of Pretoria.
