I completed my undergraduate degree in Genetics in 2024, and I am fascinated by plant breeding and crop biotechnology. I am currently pursuing my BScHons in Genetics under the supervision of Prof. Eshchar Mizrachi, Dr. Nicky Creux, and Prof. Rachel Green. The research I will be focusing on is annotating the molecular clock genes of the King Protea, specifically finding homologues of known plant central cock genes in the genome of Protea cynaroides and validating their function.
