As a naturally curious person, science has always been a big passion of mine. After completing my undergraduate degree majoring in Genetics with Microbiology, I started at my current position as intern with the Avocado Research Programme (ARP) group here at FABI. This position entails helping to process samples in their disease clinic and learning every day about standard lab practices while fine tuning my lab skills. My goals for the future are to complete postgraduate studies in this research field.
