I am a Genetics Honours student under the supervision of Prof. Martin Coetzee and mentor Ms Janie Coetzer. My research project is in the characteristics and expression of genes in the siderophore synthetase gene clusters of Armillaria and Ganoderma species. 

I completed my undergraduate degree at the UP in BSc Biochemistry (with a dual major in Genetics) in 2024.
