I completed my BSc (Hons) Microbiology degree in 2021 under the supervision of Dr David Read. My honours project involved the study of plant virus diversity in various grapevine cultivars.
I am currently doing my MSc in Microbiology under the supervision of Dr Thabiso Motaung. My project involves CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing of sweet potato for resistance against sweet potato virus disease (SPVD).
