In 2023, I completed my undergraduate degree in Human Physiology, Genetics, and Psychology.
I then completed my BSc (Hons) Genetics degree in FABI under the supervision of Prof. Tuan Duong.
Currently, I am pursuing my Master's degree under the supervision of Prof. Tuan Duong and the co-supervision of Profs. Bernard Slippers and Cobus Visagie. My project aims to use population genomics to elucidate the genetic determinants of races and fungicide resistance in Exserohilum turcicum, the causal agent of northern leaf blight affecting maize and sorghum crops.
